Christopher Ares and Ryan Schreier are the owners and founders of A&S Granite and Marble, Inc. – Established in 2017 and is the youngest and fastest growing Full Service Granite | Quartz | Marble | Quartzite | Soapstone countertop shop in Florida with over 3,900 jobs completed and counting. The two conceived the company and both brought their years of expertise to the Tampa Bay Granite Countertop market and haven’t looked back.

In February of 2017 they found the first location zoned for the type of light manufacturing needed to do fabrication and sales in East Tampa, Florida area. It all started here at 2124 Jelane Drive right behind the area’s beloved NY Diner.

After a lot of hard work to ready this facility for Granite Cutting and fabrication. We then had to create water recycling trenches around the planned bridge saw to properly drain and recycle grey water for use with wet polishers.

Then the day came the Posiedon – Odeon bridge saw was delivered and the installation and training began. That was April 7th, 2017 in Valrico, FL.

Transporting it from truck to final resting place was a tedious task and had to be completed with no errors. With the help of the Poseidon team and professional riggers we got it in without hitch. Then another two days of setup, calibration, and testing ensued.

The first pieces to cut after the concrete was poured on the surface.

One of the first white quartz Mitered waterfall leg jobs we did was for the reception desk at the newly floored office at A&S Granite and Marble pre grand opening in April of 2017. This was cone in Statuario ??? from Pompeii Quartz

After the sign was up we started unloading slabs and setting up a-frames to house the materials for our countertops to be fabricated. We care about our residential and commercial neighbors and so we needed to put the Mesh netting up on our perimeter fencing in order to mitigate dust propagation.

Once clearance was given to cut – we began doing just that. After fabrication and Quality control passed, all that is left is to load up and head to the final job site to install this Granite, Quartz, and Marble. Haven’t looked back since. Over 2,300 successfully completed jobs later we were outgrowing our facility faster than we could get jobs installed. So the search for a new home began…
